Even if you can't afford to donate items or postage, we would be very happy to include your letters of support in packages to the troops. In all the letters that we have received from the troops, the one thing that is consistent is the importance of moral support from the homefront. Please join us in continuing the support of these brave men and women who serve us!

Our goal: A package for every soldier, sailor, airman, and marine. Please help us spread the word.

 THANK YOU!

Letters Received...

Annebel and all at ALA #186...

Thank you for the books you sent.  I am a Captain in the Army, the executive officer of a cavalry troop with 60 scouts in my charge.  We are in a isolated rural suburb of Baghdad and have many avid readers.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Captain Jake Worth

Ms. Lewis,

Thank you very much for your care package.  There is nothing better than curling up with a good book at the end of a long , hot day.  The beef jerky is also greatly appreciated.  I admit that 3 of us managed to eat it all in about a week! Thank you again - the package certainly brightened my day1

Dear Annebell

We (my work center) received your package today and want to tell you thank you so much.  We absolutely love it!  Thank you so much we can't tell you how much we appreciate it.  Books are a treasure out here and when you can read it helps take your mind off of everything else going on around you for the time being.  We are completing our missions successfully.  I can't believe the phone cards, I will be giving them out to our junior troops to use. This will be a huge gift to them.  We can't thank you enough!

Thank you so much

AE1 (AW.SW Sarah Chavez

These are just a few of the letters we have received.  It warms our hearts that we can please so many with just a one little care package.   Keep up the donations ladies, they are appreciated by many!
