Our many thoughts turn to those who are bravely serving our country in far-off lands. Along with these brave men and women, let us also remember their families at home, worrying for the safety of a father, a mother, a son or daughter at war. Let us also remember the veterans of wars gone by who might be lonely, hospitalized or on the streets. We can remember them with the gift of belongingness: a membership in one of the American Legion Family service organizations.
The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and Sons of The American Legion stand united in patriotism and veterans advocacy. A gift membership will brighten the day of anyone – from the active-duty service member to the patriotic grandchild. Moreover, an affordable gift membership creates an opportunity to bring families together all year long, through the vibrant events and activities of the Legion Family, programs like Boys State and Girls State, Oratorical Contests, American Legion Baseball, VA Volunteer Service, Family Support Network and various troop-support efforts.
